Whilst visually attractive and eminently strong, Monarch’s Series 3 Doors are versatile enough to compliment various sized apertures and can be manufactured in many different designs customised to suit your design brief.

Specifications

Curtain
Series 3 is constructed from extruded aluminium slats with a face depth of 90mm x 1.6mm. Nylon end clips are fitted to prevent lateral movement & supply smooth operation.
Optional perforations of 6mm holes at 9mm centres or slotting of 160mm x 60mm are available. Clear acrylic panels can be fitted for a dust seal. Perforated shutters offer 32% free air flow of ventilated area. Slotted versions offer 53% free air flow of ventilated area.

Side Guide
103mm x 41mm extruded aluminium with schlegal nylofelt buffer for quiet operation.

Locking
Doors are generally motorised, but can be fitted with standard two point locking.

Bottom Rail
Extruded aluminium tee section specially manufactured to 1000 interlock with curtain.

Brackets
Manufactured from 10mm mild steel.

Roller Drum
Manufactured from 165mm or 219mm seamless tube attached to self lubricating bearings rotating on a 35mm steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.

Mullions
May be incorporated to suit individual or multiple openings.
